This ski and snowboard holder can hold three pair of skis (also carving style skis) or two snowboards. It mounts onto most luggage racks, but the important thing to check before you rush off to get one, is to check the angle on the luggage rack on your car, in relation to your soft top/roof. It is important to check that it will actually fit in place and have enough angle to get the skis over the roof.

The holder is lockable, and comes complete with mounting details and an instruction. It weigh about 4 kilos and can hold up to 15 kilos. It is made of aluminium. Many countries do not allow speeds over 130 km/h with rack and/or ski holder mounted. And you should always follow your own sense on how fast is suitable to go with this  mounted onto the car.
