Wind deflector for MGB 1962-1980 and RV8 1993-1996
Use a wind blocker in your MGB or RV8 Roadster to heavily reduce windblown hair, ear and neck discomfort and poor acoustics.
The model specific Windblockers Toplift offers are of very high quality, manufactured from the highest quality materials such as special woven mesh and steel tubular frame, covered with a hard wearing leatherette.
Please note that this wind deflector is tailored for the MGB model years 1962-1980 and RV8 1993-1996 and not a one-size-fits-all solution.
The windblocker is fitted in no-time, without the need of drilling holes or any other damage to your MG. It is fitted to the folding mechanism of the soft top, using the same screws that holds the folding mechanism.
The wind defector is supplied with instructional picture/pictures. We rarely get any questions on how the simple installation is made. But if you do have questions, we will try our very best to help you.

Very easy to install. The brackets of the wind deflector are made to fit behind two of the three screws on the soft top folding mechanism. The wind deflector provides a comfy feeling and reduces the wind draft to the neck very much. The wind deflector is designed to be able to fold back to see better with the soft top up, and to have below a long tonneau. This might work on a MGB/C Tourer, but not on my MG RV8, where the soft top stops it from folding all way (or the wind defector frame itself is a little too high).

Very fast delivery. Simple and smooth construction that is easy to install. And the draft to the neck was heavily reduced. If something, I think that the instructions could be of higher quality, as the pictures was quite dark almost black. One idea could be to have them in digital for download on the web page

I bought my MGB -74 for about 10 years ago now. When I restored it, I also bought a wind deflector from the MG-center. This wind deflector is considered original equipment. After many years of disappointment with this wind deflector, Removed it this spring and drove without it and felt the difference it made on the wind draft to the neck area. The reason why I removed it was that it wanted to fold backwards as my head rests pushed on it backwards. The wind deflector could not be adjusted more further back and I need to have the seat far back as I am 174 cm tall.
Now, I have purchased this wind deflector from Toplift and installed it today. It fits just perfect, no problems with the neck rests pushing on to the wind deflector. It fit much better than the original one. The mounting instruction was not so great at all, but there was still no problem to install the wind deflector. I am super pleased! I now look forward to spring again, to test it our properly.

I first bought a cheaper one from Am.z.n, it came without instructions and from what I could see it would not be placed as far back as I would need it to in order to have the seat where I like it. I sent that one back. Ordered this one instead. Good instructions and simple to install. Works well to put the top up and down with the wind deflector in place. The wind deflector is placed further back compared to the other one, so I can have the seat as far back as I like. Fast delivery.
