Install a hardtop lifting system in your garage or carport for easy mounting, removal and storing of your Ford Thunderbird 2002-2005 hardtop!

The hoist system that Toplift offer is made in USA from a manufacturer that has got more than 30 years experience from constructing tailor made hardtop lifting systems.

The Ford T-bird hardtop hoist is custom made to fit the Ford Thunderbird 2002-2005 only. No matter what lifting system you choose, the Hardtop hoist will be delivered complete with all necessary installation hardware. Installation times average between 30 and 60 minutes, normally.

The hoist system is made of three main components;

• The Support Cradle – Incorporates a lightweight aluminum tube (drawn 6061 T6) with each end rotary draw bent to 90 degrees and then encased into a high-density foam tube. The assembly constitutes a very lightweight, sturdy and upholstery-friendly Support Cradles that supports the hardtop securely from beneath, avoiding paint and weather stripping.
• The Harness – The protective cradle is then joined to a harness of heavy-duty nylon seat belt webbing sewn to the correct length required for proper balance (no adjusting is needed). Each hardtop requires it’s own uniquely proportioned harness to balance a particular size, shape and weight distribution. The harness is constructed to keep the hardtop suspended indefinitely.
• Choose on of the three Lifting systems – that are all easily installed in a ceiling of 2,2 meters or higher and easy to operate. No matter which one you choose, necessary hardware and fasteners are included;
  • Manual Pulley System;
    — Block and tackle pulley system 7:1
    — Includes necessary hardware and fasteners
  • Brake Winch Hoist with crank;
    — Ratio of 36:1
    — Sturdy wire, mechanism and crank
    — Includes necessary hardware and fasteners
  • Motorized Lifting System; 
    — Powerful and durable motor and wire built-in a black steel protective cover
    — Indefinitely suspends up to 100 pounds with block and tackle system
    — Including adapter for European electrical socket
    — Long Lifetime

The hardtop hoists was a stocked items at Toplift. Normal delivery time was just a few days from your order. However, the stock is now all out for all hoists, and the production have ceased, so there is no possibility to order or deliver the hoists at the moment.
